Samuelson has probably never been in a Walmart before, so he doesn't realize their customers are mostly geezers and Mexicans.

Samuelson undoubtedly realizes that analysis of the question is entirely independent of whether there are SUVs in the Wal-Mart lots or geezers inside the stores and that any discussion of the clientelle is not argument but idle side chatter.

These are the same people that West-side liberals get stuck behind in freeway tieups. They see the dirty faces of little Mexican kids looking at them through the rear window of the old "chevy" ahead of them while they are fuming in their Volvo.

When they get home they write letters demanding mass transit to get these people off the freeways and back on the bus where they belong.
