Opinion Wednesday August 30, 2006 Editorial: Rumsfeld is right about fascism I gather there are fewer and fewer of these kinds of editorials. Hopefully. One of these days the "fascism" metaphor will give a last gasp and roll over and disappear as unworkable and unwieldy, even dangerous in the present climate. One of the strategies of warfare is to do as little as possible to create alliances against yourself. And to refocus grievances away from you, rather than say something like "bring them on." Just terrible strategy. Hopefully, this administration's foreign policy will not be resurrected.
