Patience is an important tool of the terrorists. Not everything has to be done in a New York minute. Those who side with the view that the terrorists cannot achieve their goals have missed the extensive list of bombings, hijacking, killings, kidnappings etc. levied on us since the '70s. They raise the price each time knowing that we (the USA and the West) will fall asleep again. The foreign policy argument would be fine if those who advocate it so strongly could demonstrate prior successes. Let's see, what successes has the UN given us? How about the Israel and her attempt to go along, get along with the wishes of the West and the USA.

The goals are to destroy and dominate. What do they dominate in the West now? They affect our security policies but they dominate nothing. They control nothing. They lack the means to dominate or control anything. Using a lot of vague terms like pressure and infect and sheer terrorist and so on is just vague rhetoric.

With all due respect, I don't see how a couple of you folks get any sleep at night for worrying about the little Islamic men under your collective beds.
