Even further, if the Arabs had allowed the Jews to remain, I imagine that Jewish accommodation of Arabs within Palestine would be better as well. Hatred on both sides has not helped anything in the ME. I can agree with that 100%.

Exactly. so, let's get the Israelis out of harms way, so they Arabs can direct their hate at each other, which would be the normal state of affairs, but for the presence of the Israelis. Except for the extreme "land grant from God" types, even the Israelis themselves might be brought along to see the advantage of this idea.
