<We are not a true occupying power> We invaded Iraq and have not left Iraq -- we are not tourists. The liberation of Iraq from foreign domination (domination by the United States) -- and lets not be squirmy about our dominance in Iraq because it is beyond debate -- is their first goal. That is why they are doing so well and getting so much local support while we get so little. We are the invaders, they are the liberators. Once we are driven out of Iraq they will escalate the civil war that is already underway and no doubt set up a form of government that will make us puke -- and that is what lies in store after we, the invaders, are driven out of Iraq by them, the liberators. It is tragic.
