Glad you liked it. Yes, that parking lot has had a risk assessment. When I said that I had no expectation of finding a parking space, I didn't just pull that out of my hat. It comes from being there many times and seeing cars lined up around the block to get into the lot. The probability of my finding a space in that lot other than when I said I could is nearly zero. I don't see how positive thinking is going to improve those odds. Most of the terrorists seem to be single minded in that they hate Americans, Jews and Christians. Or haven't you been reading the papers? We've been through this too many times already. The fact that they are single minded is only motive. They still need means and opportunity. I am every bit as likely to find a spot in that perpetually full parking lot as they are to find adequate means and opportunity any time soon. Yet you tell me to think positive about the parking but you won't think positive about the terrorists. Inconsistent, seems to me."War against Islamic Fascists" is a much better one and more accurate than WOT I don't much like that term. I think it misses the nail head by quite a bit. They may be fascist in terms of their authoritarian style of government. And sure, a more libertarian government would seem better for their countries. But as long as their own countries are primarily affected, their fascism is of peripheral concern to us. Until and unless they impose their fascism on us, as long as they keep it in their own back yard, it's just not the salient element of the problem they present. If we put a label on the bad guys, we should do so, IMO, from the perspective of what is key to us. What is key to us right now is their terrorism. What might be key to us in the future is their imposition on us, a kind of imperialism. So I would call them Islamic militants or terrorists or jihadis or imperialists. "Fascists," while not invalid, just seems off target.
