See Sarman, there is always hope. Peace is made by former enemies who share the human gene. Ordinary arabs and jews have this gene because they both want whats best for their kids. Hitler, Stalin, Mao. Bin Laden and suiciders dont fit this model. I can live with hizbolla lashing out at civilians or you explaining the actions of 9/11 attackers as understandable in the context of the mideast, if you can live with and understand IDF and US retaliation for those acts. The only thing i require is renunciation of terrorism and for you I will give you a renunciation of occupation of west bank and gaza. Beyond that i will not go, nor can israel. All the talk here of jews or pals moving to the Falklands is nonsense spouted by not very serious people. The issue of Pal refugees from the 47 war needs a symbolic settlement but there is no way israel will commit suicide and i think you understand this. But 67 borders are different and should be the cornerstone of any agreement. I envisage two states or perhaps three if gaza and WB decide to adminster separately. But those 2 or 3 states should become part of a larger regional entity that should include jordan and maybe egypt as well. A sort of nascent EU for the ME.
