The price of oil is bad enough ... now a loaf of bread is gonna break the bank! Some of those poor farmers are not going to strike it rich - the US breadbasket has suffered drought this growing season and I expect the harvest will be well below expectations. What's the issue of rich countries' agricultural subsidies? I am trying ... very trying. Unfortunately, my various appendages are still acting up ... this flurry of posts is due more to boredooooom! (Thanks for your thoughts.) If I don't move, there is no pain ;-) I have to move now and then so no one thinks I'm an ornament and starts to trim me with holiday decorations. Between the pain ... and the "pains" ...... During the day our home has been full of grandchildren ... 2 whose school starts next week, a kindergartner who goes mornings, returning here at 11:42 a.m. and the occasional toddler who is here because day care is taking a holiday (4-day weekend coming up). :^( Merry
