Every day we have to revise our count of what the scope of the problem is,” said Chris Clark, program manager of the U.N. Mine Action Coordination Center in southern Lebanon. “We just don’t know how big the problem is, only that it is huge at the moment and getting bigger every day.”

With Lebanon decided not to enforce any of the terms of the Ceasefire that they offered Israel, they are lucky the war isn't at full tilt even as we speak. Israel is a bully and Israel is wrong, but Hizbollah started the war, and the reneged on the deal that got them the ceasefire they wanted. No one is saying it, but under international law, the repudiation of the major terms of a ceasefire make it perfect fine for Israel to go back to war. One doesn't see the UN yelling at Hizbollah, because they have a solution they would shoot them.

You truly are a disgusting revolting human being Hawk.

I didn't say I agreed with it. Just stated that you can't call it a war crime when no civilians were present when the CB's were dropped.

How many of those ball-bearing laden Katyusha's that Hizbullah fired into Israel failed to go off and await some kid stumbling across them?

That's what was disgusting Sly.. They fired those rockets DIRECTLY AT CIVILIAN AREAS, INTENDING TO KILL CIVILANS.

So don't tell who's a "disgusting revolting human being". Because I haven't heard you, EVEN ONCE, condemn those actions on the part of Hizbullah.

I personally don't know why Israel dropped so many CBs towards the end, assuming the reports are accurate (why many have not been). But it may have been that they wanted to get their "last licks" in and destroy as many of the launching sites for those rockets as possible before the cease-fire commenced.

It's sad that children are dying.. Hizbullah should be more responsible about clearing the area that they are permitting civilians back into.

The Israelis do for their civilians.
