Oh, the Dems have plenty of plans. Their think tanks are churning them out by the tons.

Just not a centralized voice to make them clear. And the media tends to pay attention to congressional leaders and WH reps. At least at this point in the news cycle.

You'll hear them much clearer as we get closer to the election.

The problem with plans and visions is they are necessarily vague and general; as the current White House incumbents delight in reminding us, hard details have to be kept secret lest they be advertised to the enemy in advance.

The result is a moronic "tough on/soft on" name-calling from both sides, all of whom claim to be the tough guys, naturally.

It is an unimaginative debate cloaking a lack of substance.
