The other is simple racism. The people least able to recover are black. Kane West had it right when he said that Bush didn't care about black people. Yeah. I bet those dead white people in Mississippi aren't having near the problems Oprah's studio audience are...

There's no doubt about that.....he always goes to Miss. first even though the most important city in the region is NOLA. I also think NO is suffering from intentional benign neglect. I am sure by conservative Christian values, NOLA is a soddom or a gomorrah and not worth saving. The fact that its a major port of entry for inland, Midwestern commerce and an oil refining center forces them to do something.......like reinforcing the levees.
