Hi Mr L.

The Stockholm Syndrome involves an emotional attachment to the captors due to the total control exercised over them. I don't know if having a city nuked would achieve an equivalent feeling of helplessness and dependence. I rather think we would bomb the crap out of anyone around.

Did you know there's a reverse syndrome where the captors begin to sympathize with their captives-- the Lima Syndrome?
