Yes I often tried them now avoid biotechs like the plague.
What I own now are broken stocks which trade below cash. I tried thhat with NBIX but soon found out that it was a bit early when the stock moved down yet another 50% from already depressed levels.

You see that there are a load of public shells, aquisition shells with warrants. Very few have so far done an aquisition, with one CMAQ recently dying down after the shareholders voted them off.
Shareholders are spec.opp funds which hold a couple of them. Seems that they could walk easily towards yearend, perhaps creating buying opps for shells which go into redemption, warrants expire at 0.
