Elroy... I know your heart is in the right place, but diplomacy has to reside within the realm of the possible.

Hey, this is an internet discussion board. Anything is possible. My peace proposal is just one of many that deserve discussion.

Frankly, my hunch is that if my proposal ever REALLY got discussed in the real world, the Palestinians would be highly in favor of it, most of the Arab neighbors would be in favor of it, and the Israelis would be strongly opposed. However, that's one of the reasons for the 20-50 year implementation time period. If those 150k Pal refugees that were given Israeli citizenship by Barak are integrated into and contributing to society today, bringing in another 100k next year could slowly reverse Israeli opposition to the plan IF the integration of the new 100k were successful (they improve society). If the integration of another 100k is a failure (ie, they turn into either suicidal bombers, or they cause massive unacceptable social upheaval for whatever cultural reasons) then the integration process starts to look closer to 50 than 20 years as the NewCo tries to figure out what happened with the new 100k to make them less successful than the already completed 150k.

Just because one group is going to respond "I don't wanna!" is not a reason to take a pretty freaking nice sounding "high chance of success and worldwide support" peace solution off the table. Solving the Israel-Pal situation is one of the major activities of the UN - if my proposal seems a good the UN should get off their butts and make an effort to get implementation started.

Debating Elroys fantasy gets us nowhere. Look at his posts over the last several months. He is indeed obsesssed but you are right that his heart is in the right place. His brain however--well thats a totally different story.
