"Too many believe that we can just 'talk' our way out of everything." Can you give an example of what you mean? In the last 30 years American troops have been sent all over the world by both political parties- hardly an example of just "talking" our way out of everything. Troop deployment and recent history seem to militate against your statement, but perhaps you could give some concrete references to specific situations where you are against talking (by which I understand you to mean negotiations.)
