Suma, that's not what you said. He responded to the assertion that we "murdered millions" of them. Tim is correct to "deny" that. There's a difference between "murdered" and "killed" and a difference between "millions" and "some." I doubt you'd get any argument from Tim if you claimed that some innocent civilians were murdered or that there were millions of civilian casualties.

There certainly were atrocities committed by Americans in Vietnam. Buy Mai Lai and other smaller events didn't kill millions.

I didn't deny that innocent Vietnamese civilians where killed by Americans. I didn't even deny that innocent Vietnamese civilians were murdered by Americans. You said "we murdered millions of innocent Vietnamese civilians", not we murdered some innocent Vietnamese civilians.
