Then the leaders of lebanon and Palestine have no way to get a deal. Of course the lebanese leader said they would be last to sign a deal, but another Hizbollah kidnapping would soon change his mind, I think. OTOh I am heartened by the article by a Hamas leader, about what have Palestinians done with the territory they already have.

Unlike nasrallah who lost 500 men and now has an extra 500 families to feed, Israels troop losses were not so heavy and Israel will be able to pay the pensions easily......

Of course i believe every prisoner in israel who is close to finished their sentence or who hasn't been tried or who is a woman or child should be trucked to the Lebanese border and released. 10,000 more people who have nothing should help lebanon immensely.

But the border crossing that the palestinians were tunnelling towards, (they died) should be closed for a year. as should the one where the Israeli Soldier was kidnapped, it should be closed until he is returned alive, if he is not returned alive, it should not be re-opened. or at least not until his kidnappers are turned over to Israeli Justice.
