Do you know how AI et al has judged the US war in iraq or afganistan? It seems to me if the war crimes paridgm has changd so much since WW2, then the US must be in hot water as well unless its just israel these folks really care about.

Amnesty International is not only sacrificing its own credibility when it misstates the law and omits relevant facts in its obsession over Israel. It also harms progressive causes that AI should be championing.

Maybe this is why I'm more inclined to give the Israelis the benefit of a doubt about some of their actions, and prevents me from being more scrutinizing.

Because the fact is pretty damn clear so many groups have an obvious BIAS against Israel that they have lost their ability to be objective. No report from a supposedly credible Human Rights group can assert war crimes against Israel and NOT make the same assertions against Hizbullah. It's just ridiculous.

So when I see this constant, irrational, if not outright racist, anti-Israel bias, such as we commonly see displayed by folks like Sly, Geode, GST and so many others, I just kinda naturally feel like it's difficult to criticize Israel for anything they've done..

Because when people of their ilk are all given to collectively focus upon, and demonize, a particular entity/idea, it's almost a given that they are trying to cover up for the atrocities of one of their "fellow travelers".

And in this case, it's Iran, Syria, and Hizbullah...

The proof is that they seldom, if ever, criticize the actions of any of the above three entities.
