The author is a Newsmax writer. Newsmax is Mellon-Scaife's far rightwing propaganda website whose admitted goal is to smear democrats. I heard the editor admit this on talk radio. He's very proud of being a smear artist. He then claimed he had a scoop which would "destroy" Hillary Clinton. Mellon Scaife hates the Clintons and spends millions trying to defame them even though they were cleared of all charges in the Whitewater investagation which looked at every detail of their entire lives.

It was about some campaign finance scandal. His source for the accusation was one Peter Paul, a convicted stock swindler and con artist who posed as a legit millionaire and ripped off many people, including a friend of mine. Though Newsmax knew he was a convicted swindler they took his word. They sued Hillary Clinton on the matter (Mellon-Scaife also paid for Paula Jones and the phony bimbo charge frivolous lawsuits against Clinton) and the case was thrown out of court for having no merit whatsoever.

Your lesson about Newsmax endeth.
