So you're saying that Israel is going to nuke Lebanon and the Palestinians?

Yep, aggression and military power certainly worked well last month.

You guys never learn. As I said, I didn't really see much support from the Israeli rank and file. The citizenry weren't too thrilled either.

How does that translate into further warfare unless the government of Israel has stopped caring what the people think? The rightwing Israeli government has shown itself to be just as untrustworthy as the rightwing US government. If it needs to go to war to save its political future, I'm sure it will.

Israel has only three choices, to keep reacting to aggression which is what they do now, to reach peace somehow, or to start initiating aggression. Israel is making their choice now. They see no hope of peace, and reacting to acts of aggression is being seen as not bringing any successful conclusion.
Ichy, they do start the aggression, however, they have a $300 million PR budget a year to hide their aggression from North American eyes. Did you watch that documentary?
