i remember a guy used to live in franklin ma off 495 and drive into e.boston daily. this was late 60's people thought it was like driving to another country. in 1972 i relocated to e.prov and moved to lincoln r.i. people in the office all lived with a few miles of the office and thought lincoln was like another state. now i hear it is a bedroom community of boston where i live most commute to boston from northeast parts of r.i.
