It's as though the mere feeling of fear is so invalidated that anyone expressing or feeling fear is considered deranged, so is paranoid. Which of course is as abusive of perfectly good words as the common cat-cry of "racist" is abused.

Any critical comment of any specific or general nature is considered racist. The grey ooze "we are all the same" "nothing is better than anything" theory of humans is alive and well, and will, annoyingly for me, be yet another factor making your Aztec theories likely to be correct.

Eventually i agree but if we do get a hard landing given no geopolitical events don't you see near term oil prices much lower than we see today? Even a soft landing which I am hopeful of no higher than today....FWIW I think the oil play has seen it's high . BWTFDIK?
