"What will you do in fifty years when the US economy no longer has the strength to be the world's police force? "

No one here, at least not me, is complaining about America being the world's police force. The problem here, is that Bush Jr. is doing a lousy job of it. ie Iraq. Rather than listening to people with war experience that know how to fight and win a fight ie. Powell, you've got the president listening to Rumseld and Cheney. Hence we went to war with inadequate number of troops. Now our kids are dying and being maimed in droves and this war looks like a ten year battle at least. All the while Haliburton and KBR make big bucks. They want the war to go on forever. It's good for them, and, hey, Cheney's there pal, they'll look after him too. Has your kid come back in box yet?
