is this the same suit that BRCM had filed alleging patent infringement? No, Broadcom is suing Qualcomm for patent infringment in several different venues but the most important one is the case before the ITC. It was supposed to get a ruling a few weeks ago before the target date was extended. I'm hoping that the dismissal of the anti-trust case will increase the chances for a settlement with Broadcom. Honestly, it really wouldnt effect Qualcomm much at all if the two companies signed a royalty-free cross-license. Slacker
