Every so often as our story progresses we look around and realize, in a new light, that the phantoms of our darkness are unworthy impediments to the destiny of noble human endeavor. Let's review. Throughout history, we have found it noble to stand against the varied forms of social injustice. We do this so that we can claim a greater portion of liberty and peaceful coexistence with others, not just as a self interest but in the interest of social evolution and to the well being of our progeny. We light our minds with the language of freedom and as we do we raise the consciousness of human beings to an increasingly higher frame of reference than ever before. We organize against the coercive forces of tyranny whether they are armies, a single bully, a social agenda, or the fears of our own minds. The world is rapidly changing. Every culture is clashing and blending into one another. It is harder and harder to distinguish what is 'over there' from 'over here'. Political borders are less and less meaningful. Where do we find meaning then? To what do we attach our soul's purpose? You know this is true. It is only a dimly lit trend at the moment but there is no turning back and this light will be shining brighter and brighter with each new day. What can we attach meaning to? By what purpose are we bound, one to another? We can attach meaning to the noble destiny of human endeavor. Liberty and justice for all, living in peaceful coexistence. This will be accomplished in spite of oppositional political forces, not because of them.
