"People get the wealth by making the wealth or by owning investment which produce wealth."

That isn't the only way, although that is becoming the trend. Wealth is created by producing goods and services. Investment is an enabler, but so is productivity. Investment without producing anything has other names like "scam" or "tax shelter". You consistently focus on investment and ignore all other aspects of an economy. Why is that?

"Macaca" Allen's Opponent's Son Deployed To Iraq

(* Not a single Bushie like Allen has ever served in combat and neither have any of their sons)

Webb to skip event; son is bound for Iraq

Richmond Times-Dispatch Sep 1, 2006

Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Jim Webb will skip Virginia's annual campaign kickoff Labor Day event in Buena Vista Monday because his son is being shipped out to Iraq.

Webb, a decorated Marine combat veteran of the Vietnam War will visit with his 24-year-old son, Jimmy, at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. The son is a lance corporal in the Marine Corps.

Families are given 72 hours notice to visit with their children before they are deployed overseas, a Webb spokeswoman said.

Webb will have seasoned surrogates to fill his slot at the parade and do speechmaking in the western Virginia town. Gov. Timothy M. Kaine and former Gov. Mark R. Warner will campaign for Webb in Buena Vista and at subsequent Labor Day events in Covington and Newport News.

Sen. George Allen, a Republican, whose job Webb wants, will ride a horse in the parade.

The Buena Vista event has been held for 35 years. Although the candidates have been campaigning for months by Labor Day, it is seen as the kickoff of the true campaign season. -- Tyler Whitley

You don't have an economic pie to divide. There is no fixed amount of wealth to divide.

Remember that Ouspensky claimed there only is a finite amount of happiness on Earth to be shared though.
Thus not everybody can be happy at the same time he further argued.

Declining numbers of insured people, isn't about people getting poorer (and even if it was you still haven't shown "at the expense of") its about health insurance becoming more expensive.

Tim, stop the nonsense........I have given you enough articles to support an army of people who don't believe the rich are getting richer at the expense of the poor. If you don't want to believe it, then just say so and we'll agree to disagree.

"Americans without health insurance jumped by 1.3 million ..."

Americans with health insurance jumped by 1.4 million."

Message 22767344;

That post no more addresses the issue of the rich getting rich et al than if octopus [sp?] had started talking about victory gardens during WW II. Hence my response:

Message 22775975

So then......why would you reference his post?

Let's assume there is an economic pie worth $1000.

Lets assume the moon is made of green cheese. Its just as reasonable. You don't have an economic pie to divide. There is no fixed amount of wealth to divide. And even if there has been no economic growth during a particular period, you still aren't dividing pie. People get the wealth by making the wealth or by owning investment which produce wealth.

Nothing you have posted in nearly a month has refuted the claim. So let's "assume" you don't want to hear the truth and drop the issue.
