I cant believe i forgot koufax. He and Bob Gibson were the two best pitchers I ever saw. These 6 inning guys today couldnt hold a candle to these dudes. I was always amazed how a black guy and a jew could so intimidate major league hitters on the field and be so intelligent and sensitive off. Did you ever see the look on a hitters face when Gibson gave him some chin music with a 98mph fast ball? Or remember the 63 WS when sandy struck out the nine or so yankees to face him. And the multiple perfect games and no-hitters. I am a Met fan now and i have watched more baseball this year than i have watched in a long time. The game is the only thing between me and an institution. Syl should start watching baseball before he is committed.
