Sounds like it's still pretty important to you too... since you seem to be lining up with the Communist bosses who want to keep their Command-driven economic system, and their ability to mandate from the top down every little detail, and lining up against free trade rules applying to everyone.... :-( "Rapid economic change would create a wild West mentality and the communist party would find controlling its population increasingly difficult." LOL! (If you don't count year-after-year-after-year of 9% to 11% annual growth in GNP as "rapid economic change" then I shudder to imagine what your threshold for "rapid change" may be, Peter! :-) Sounds like they've already BEEN THERE (& still ARE) for quite a WHILE now....
