I read parts of his speech and heard other parts. Deep down we all know that failure in iraq at this point will be a great loss. Of course it will be a greater loss if it comes next year with another 1000 americans dead. Bush has become a cartoon characterture of himself. Man i wish we had the parliamentary system so we could get an election. 2+ years to go for a cartoon to run the country. Dont rummy, cheney and now even condi fit into this cartoon example. You can picture it if you try. Cheney in hunting gear. Condi dressed to the nines. Rummy giving lessons in world history and bush fumbling and stumbling. Rove too--as the big fat red faced orchestrator of this regime. Having said all that wouldnt kerry and gore have made great cartoons also and then there was the bulbous nose with the stained dress gal. Sorry for ranting.
