Dividends should be added to your portfolio.

I agree but this is a contest that's concerned primarily with momentum. Most dividend stocks are slugs when it comes to momentum.

Would make life more complicated for Elroy's accounting.
We gave up on a couple of obviously nice features just to simplify things.

I agree and more so if there is special dividend of decent size. However, it may be nightmarish for Elroy to manage. Then you have to worry about date held and date paid out..

One way to ease Elroy's work, may be the contestant should be responsible to keep track of it and let Elroy know when such event take place with a link backing it up... just my $.02.

BTW, Here are my thoughts on my holdings in this contest. I also hold them in my accounts as well. Would appreciate comments from others.

TAG has nearly doubled from where we started this contest and quadrupled from where I got in in Dec 05 (my gamble with money recognized from year-end tax loss sales). But the insiders continue to buy and they pretty much accomplished what they targeted to do. Their rewards are tied to options also. So I will continue to hold.

BTN's transition to digital projectors and service strategy seems to be starting to be realized. Partnership with NEC and small service company acquisition should be fruitful.

PSAI should have almost $10 in cash when latest unit sale to Lincare is closed. It continues to trade at $13 so core business is only worth $3. CEO can probably sell it for quite a bit more than that but will have to do something with cash at hand - either return to shareholder or make significant acquisition to grow core business.

Then there is WFII. I am starting to lose faith in management's stragtegy of growing gov't contracts business..Looked promising initially but thats what it has been.. Empty promises and nor delivery..

Good luck to all..
