Why would this result not be as valuable: 15ft of 1 and 1/3 oz gold and 40 oz of silver.

why insist?

The metric system «sounds and feels» richer!, like the euro... LOL.

I grew up with miles, foot, inches, pounds and onces and had to adapt to the metric system, kilometers, and grams during adolescence...

Now you understand my state... a part of my Dasein!

But an once is an once whether in a shooter or a coin!

Did you know that in France they refered to the shooter as «the little thumb», which is still better than 2 centilitres! or an once!

Straight no chaser!

Lester

Because it was announced in mid-july?
Because not many were watching anyway?
Because phonetically 'Uck' doesn't roll nice off the tongue?
Because they don't have the name-brand recognition of "Sutter"?
Because it's south of the border, and you know what Those People are like?
Because Uck's float is not reduced by a great whack of shares in escrow?
Because Uck uses that french way of counting instead of scruples per dram?
Because Sutter has been previously ignored while Uck has not?
Because Sutter doesn't have to digest the recent share issue that Uck does?
Because it was announced in mid-july.

... i dunno man, you might as well ask, Why Is Up ... it just is, that's all ... i hold a little uc.v as well, btw, part of a basket of mexilvers picked up over a couple or three weeks in mid-summer ... and it's done well since then, you can hardly complain ... check this years volume pattern on the two, and compare - pretty distinct, eh

It just happened that friday i had a few fresh nickels, and periods of time online during the day, both rare events, and the first thing i saw [after bmc moving] was sgm ... spent a little money, then a little time on dd, lot more money, lot more time, little more money and decided to forego profit-taking at end of day .... not sorry either, got one account here up over fifteen per cent on the day, helped by sml, bmc, and i forget what else .... remember Galileo's famous last words, 'Yet it moves', lol
