They mean, "make no payment," but pay a fee for that privilege to the tune of $10. I guess it's like lowering the minimum payment to $10 this month, regardless of my balance, with that $10 being entirely additional interest (technically). But you're right, my minimum payment would only be about $60 I think. Guess it's aimed at people already running $15k in the red, or more.

what are the rules on credit card cos booking accrued interest? can they book all the interest just as it accrues? i am curious if the GAAP treatment of CC cos is different from that being used by the negam writers.

What gets me is that you can make payments during the month for thousands of dollars, but if you miss a minimum payment of $15 at the end, all sorts of bad things start to happen.
