If my numbers are correct:

1945 - Defense spending = 37% of GDP

2005 GDP = 13 trillion

So, we should be spending 3.8 trillion to match what we were willing to give up during WWII.

Instead, rightwingers are so worried about WWIII that we are spending around $100 billion AND rightwingers want to cut estate taxes for the top 0.27%.

Rightwingers are so worried about WWIII that they regularly go on vacations.
