If I was doing it, I'd go after something easy; like everybody whose vision genes are normal. Would leave a world of 4 eyed people, which should help the survival of the species.

That's not the easy route. We don't even know how many genes determine eye color, let alone what genes deliver "normal vision".

But Hapologroups are very well defined; the specific DNA markers are known; and the testing is being done as part of a number of scientific projects. The Genographic Project being the largest.
