koan just trying to tone down the highly speculative day trading plays whether they are currently successful or not. Things can always head south.

No real rules just looking for value. Lurkers that want the day trades, momo, quick slice and dice have plenty of venues.

For instance on your warrants. They have value and you hold and hold. Most of what you have discussed are warrants on quality stocks with proven reserves.

No big changes just an alert so to speak that some of these can go wrong.

As far as I know both Claude and Marcos are looking for value at least with the majority of their PF's and are patient holding them and patient with their entries.

<I know if this thread is constrained to a couple of long term holds I will need to move on as I beleive that is the wrong way to maximize this market.>

That is not at all what I mean.

- And the massive amount of drilling and company consolidation requires quick moves for optimizing profits and minimizing losses.

This certainly can work for the sharp trader. However this style is not for everybody. One can achieve excellent and possibly better profits buy buying value and holding for the long term.I am sure you trade out of some positions that are now much higher.
