Bush's Harvard professor said he had major problems with hard work and telling the truth. In other words, he was a lazy dishonest rich kid who cut out of the Guard two years early after using the champagne unit of the Guard to avoid the draft and the war. Bush specifically checked the box "don't send me to Vietnam" on the same military form that Kerry checked "send me to Vietnam".

Now we know why Bush-Rove wanted the smear campaigns against opponents who reaslly did serve their country and were combat heros: McCain and Kerry especially, and also Cleland and Murtha. Wes Clark would have gotten the smear job too if he'd been a VP candidate.
