War crimes rank as among the most evil of crimes.

It is so easy to sit in an armchair and pontificate on what others should be doing.

This occurred in a time of war, and was a crime. However, we should save the designation of warcrimes for bigger crimes. If we try these young men, and they are found guilty let them be found guilty of the crimes of Murder and Rape. Save the term warcrimes for bigger badder crimes that merit some extra attention. This is pretty small potatoes compared to some of what happens in a war.
