Actually most progressives think that everyone has a right to their own opinions, it's the actions of some that are problematic. What 'right' is it that Israel has? Who gave it that right and, therefore, who can take it away?

Does that 'right' include a specific time and place or can Israel exist anywhere? It's easy to say 'everyone has a right to exist' and then bring out the guns but it's infinitely more difficult to look at many people and come to a cooperative resolution.

'Innocents' are always being slaughtered. It doesn't take a Muslim to do that. It does take a murderer though and that's a label that's easily applied to every single human being. That's part of the heritage of our species and the part that, in a civilized world, we have to leave behind.

Again, it's absurd that rightwingers look at archly conservative Muslims and don't see themselves.
