I like that, the Treasonous Mainstream. Now THAT is what I should rename the thread, LOL. I was not familiar with that expression. Had to look it up. Apparently, except for Doonsbury, it's only used as part of "treasonous mainstream media." I hadn't remembered it from Bush's comments.

Well, as we know, my political preferences are definitely to the left of yours. It would take a status upgrade to get me to "treasonous mainstream." ;-) As for the secular humanist bit, I guess Camus/Tillich/Bultmann qualifies, but barely, which is where I get my basic theological premises
