It's gotta be a zigzag, flat or triangle, if it's corrective, right? I think zig-zag can be eliminated. Flat or double flat is a possibility I thought about.

AJ over on ihub had an interesting suggestion that the initial move from the July low was a leading diagonal and the big run-up in August was the wave iii in that formation. I admit it wouldn't be my preferred count, but the market doesn't really care about my preferred count anyway. <g>
