I agree, coffee is not health food. It should be limited. The benefit of tea, and green tea however has been demonstrated in recent population studies.

I never drank coffee but often have coffee ice cream.

Eva, thanks for passing along the article by Dr Chris Fenn, 'Caffeine - The Energy Drainer'
I'm not even going to make any bad jokes about it.
I may actually cut back. God knows I need all the memory cells I can hold onto! But what about green tea? I read a whole book about how wonderful tea is for you because of the anti oxidants, yet caffeine is a primary ingredient. maybe tea is ok because the caffeine level is less per cup?
