Many mines were halted by the fixed 35 gold price. At 700 gold would be 20X payback. Surely the costs have not gone up 20X ?? Though re-permitting is no doubt more complex and time consuming. Seems like some of these should be running again if gold holds. Magnet: Saw pics of that one with headframe still there and power station. And the mill just few miles away. Does the grade and resource justify $6M to get it re-started ?? One more good ramp in POG should unlock the purse strings wide enuf to finance such as this ................
