Thank you for the points you made. The Zenith case was one that I definitely know about-----check out the Zenith board---now, LGE has lawsuits against SGI re alleged patent infringement. Also, Lge now in financial trouble. This was also a bankruptcy in which Alix Partners was advisory.

Court denied LGE as an unsecured creditor. On the BSI site there are the docket items related to this and LGE's petition to the court to allow them to sue SGI after the fact. Rather complex----SGI is opposing LGE as are the Unsecured Creditors and Ad Hoc Committee.

Actually this SGI case appears to be heating up whereas before it seemed that everything would go through unquestioned.

Re Equity Committee--------requests/proposals have been made by various shareholders------as of now I know of none that have been granted.

Agree with your point about Congress making the equity committee automatic. That would certainly evenout the playing field so to speak.
