'deflation', not as in shrinking of money supply, but as in dropping of asset price, has been happening, when measuring price of most things relative to gold and certain other minerals and compounds generally obtained by digging and drilling, since Y2K, nicely too, and did so without the lumpen investoriates getting wise

may some of us remain fortunate, to be able to understand what others fail to see
