There will come a day when the present G7 will no longer have an advantage in capital or technological leverage. At that point our educational system and our industrial training ground will have shrunk along with our economies to the point where we will have to acknowledge that we are closer to the second and third world relatively than we are to the first. When we lose that advantage and that wealth, we will have to admit that there is certainly no genetic advantage to our once historic position, and our races and social groups will gradually die out and be assimilated. It has happened to all empires since we record history. They all ascend, they all fall, they all become weak and their progenitors recede, are assimilated by others and/or change within themselves. And it shall happen to us. Our lack of ability or will to conserve our once expanding groups within our present boundaries helps to ensure this. It happens by degrees, and over time, and with the help of people within as well as without, who aspire to be first in the world. And we all know who they are and we all fear their capabilities and intent. Spengler, who wrote "The Decline of the West", predicted this, ironically in doing so predicting the inevitable end of the Reich in which he wrote his histories, some say I think incorrectly as a glorification of that civilization.

On the bright side, running out of oil and the massive technological and infrastructure investment required to maintain an energy hungry industrial society may level us all equally, obviating the need to develop better defences. Before that point comes, it appears there may be global war to secure resources for continuance and dominance, a territorial genetic imperative that appears to be operative with the human race in general.
