Re: "Man is not under law but under grace."

Hell, guy... YOU'RE THE ONE who posted that (& I quote!): "God is the one who chooses our rulers", citing Romans 13:1-2 that "Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities....", (and Colossians 1 : 16, and Titus 3: 1-2....)

I DIDN'T post that, YOU DID!

(All I did was point out some of the IMPLICATIONS of such a belief. Implications which *you* then studiously ignored. <GGG>)

Re: "Romans 13:1-2 Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves."

Gee... then I guess all those Jewish REBELLIONS against Roman rule were pretty ILL-CONCEIVED then, huh? (Since they were condemning all their souls to infernal tarnation by rebelling against the Earthly King.)

Kinda hard to wrap your head around the concept that rebelling against CALIGULA could be a bad thing! (But, if you think so, Pro, then I guess it must be so. :-)

You know what that does to all those poor, misguided folks who impeached Clinton then, don't you? (Smell the BRIMSTONE. :-(
