Now the Tax Assessors/Collectors have been under recent pressure because in some areas the tax valuation varies a lot from house to house, and the state requires them to keep the valuation roughly uniform in a given area. So they apparently went through their records and found our house and decided to avoid the headache of raising our neighbors and lowered ours. So our taxes dropped by quite a bit.

Wow. You lucked out big time. Nice.
