Very interesting, I checked earlier in the day for options activity and that wasn't there. Open interest was 25,598 so the first thing we want to check tomorrow is if those were opened or closed. If you have a way of telling a few additional items like did they go at the bid or ask and was it one big transaction or not, that can also help trying to decipher what might have happened.

One interesting item, SONS has managed to crush the $5 calls monthly for a long time, usually for 20K+ contracts. I got sucked in 5 times<ng> While Oct is moving up, September is unusually light on the open interest. Maybe a contrarion indicator.

Don't really follow options....but SONS has had a few very good days recently, especially one or two in which buying volume was enormous and in large blocks.

The word is out.

PS: It was probably Ramsey Su and Cooters.

This activity has continued, vol and open interest heavy on the Oct $5, anemic on the Sept $5.

My WAG is the market expects the options review to be benign, but not completed until after next Friday.
