"President Bush Defends War Strategy, Quoting Repeatedly From Osama Bin Laden"

It's a good thing he never "smoked him out of his cave" or "hunted him down dead or alive!" He wouldn't have him as a bogeyman if he had..

Tony SnowWhite, where have ya been?

Heck, Dubyette doesn't even have to fire Rummy, he just has to accept one of his many resignation letters. Who knows, maybe Rummy wants to jettison his rat's arse from this particular sinking ship instead of being tied to DummyDubyette and Evil Little Karl for the rest of history.

I mean, would you want to go down in history as the head incompetent in this war?

BUSH 2002:
"We haven't heard much from him. And I wouldn't necessarily say he's at the center of any command structure. And, again, I don't know where he is," Bush said during the 2002 news conference. "I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him. I know he is on the run.

"I was concerned about him when he had taken over a country," Bush continued. "I was concerned about the fact that he was basically running Afghanistan and calling the shots for the Taliban. But once we set out the policy and started executing the plan, he became - we shoved him out more and more on the margins. He has no place to train his Al Qaeda killers anymore."

Bush 2006:
"Quoting repeatedly from Osama bin Laden, President Bush said Tuesday that pulling U.S. troops out of Iraq would fulfill the terrorist leader's wishes and propel him into a more powerful global threat in the mold of Adolf Hitler."

==============

So Dubyette is going backwards with OBL? First he said he's not a big concern and now he's Hitler?

Gee. What an admission of utter failure in the Global War on Terror. Dubyette should forget about accepting Rummy's resignation, HE should resign.
