Hi all,

are you ready for the Sept/Oct lull? Get your cash ready for buying opportunities in Oct. :) I think we dip in the next 1.5 months and then start climbing again in Nov. It's like clockwork.

Do you think my reasoning is too optimistic?

Yes, oil has been doing well coming up on 2 years. Generally a good oil cycle lasts 7 years so depending on how you count oil prices will stay relatively high for the next 4-5 years. I do not see oil dropping below $50 per barrel.

I work in engineering design related to oil refineries so career wise oil prices being high is a stable working environment. However, I agree with you, stock market well not take off til HDTV & VOIP gets here AND with lower energy prices.
